I was at work today and I found myself humming the Wipeout chant. We should definitely keep that one.

I have another chant idea to the tune of Flower by Moby.

(It would be pretty cool if we subbed the players names for "Elsie" and "The Coopers" as the chant progressed)

We can call it "Fleur"

When I looked more into the actual song, it apparently was based on a song and game that slave children played in those days mimicking the field work. They used the word Sally as a code to all other children, regardless of race or social status, to come and play along. When sung loudly, the game could be played across larger distances.

I think we should sing it during warm-up since it is known for being a workout song and it will also serve as our invitation to the game that is about to begin.

I'm only two sections over from the main Coopers section and we can't make out any of the words to the songs. We all want to sing along and I've searched the threads but can't find one place for the main ones that are repeated throughout the matches. Is there one page devoted to just the words to the core songs?

Think we could have choir practice while the team is away? Get together to meet everyone, drink some, have a bite to eat, and learn songs. We could learn movements and become more organized. Capos/wanna be Capos can run it. We could brain storm how we communicate better what song/chant we want to sing. . .get everybody on board. . .and sing away.

I agree. Let's get everyone on the same page and figure out what works and what doesn't work.
