I've got a few rebuttals for St. Louis songs, but being as the St. Louligans may, in fact, check our boards, I'm not posting them here. You'll just have to join in when I start singing them.
Just know this...
They sing "Glory Glory River City" (same as Glory Glory Hallelujah or Glory Glory Man United)... we'll have a rebuttal when we win
They also have this chupacabra theme going on with their team. We're definitely going to touch on that topic.

"Banks of the Ohio"
I asked my love to take a walk To take a walk, just a little walk Down beside where the waters flow Down by the banks of the Ohio
And only say that you'll be mine In no others' arms entwine Down beside where the waters flow Down by the banks of the Ohio

Who's that team they call Lou City? Who's that team we all adore? We're the boys in purple and white and we fight with all our might, And we're out to take the USL by storm.
Bring on Richmond or St. Louis, Bring on the Charleston Battery, Montreal to Harrisburg, Wilmington to Rochester, We're the greatest team that you will ever see!

From the banks of the old Ohio To the shores of Misery (Missouri), We will fight, fight, fight for our City 'Til we win the Football League
So down with all our rivals, Especially St. Louis... (They’re *crap*!) We will fight, fight, fight for our City 'Til we win the Football League

Alright, I'm a bit late to the party but here are some ideas: I'm a big lover of German Football and the German National Team, so most of these are translations of the songs I know. 1) "Singing and Dancing" I've taken this from Song and DanceHere's an idea for our version: Aiaiaiai, Louisville City FC/ LLLLLL C F CCCCCC/ Elsie FC, We sing and dance on the football field, A shot/chance, A goal/score, For City/Elsie! 2) "Olé City/Eslie" Olé Olé Olé Olé Olé Let's go City/Elsie, Let's go City/Elsie, Let's go City/Elsie Olé Olé... 3) "Score" from TorCome on City/Elsie score a goal, Score a goal, Score a goal... 4) "Winners" from WinnersThis is how the winners look, Shalalalala, This is how the winners look, Shalalalalalalalala.. 5) "Elsie" from DeutschlandElsie, Clap, clap, clap, Elsie, Clap, clap, clap... ******** OR ******** L C clap clap calp F C clap clap clap 6) "Win" SiegVariation One: Clap, Clap, Clap clap clap clap clap Go/Win! Variation Two: Clap, Clap, Clap clap clap clap clap L Clap, Clap, Clap clap clap clap clap C Clap, Clap, Clap clap clap clap clap F Clap, Clap, Clap clap clap clap clap C *** That alone would be good but you could add an ending such as L C F C L C F C L C F C Come on boys, let's go! 7) "Louisville" This would just be a variation of the Liverpool chant where we sing the club's name Louisville, Louisville Louisville, Louisville... As you can tell words like City and Elsie, Score and Goal, Chance and Shot are all about preference and what flows better or fits the club better. Lastly I have an idea/request for a song I'm having trouble with. So gehen die Deutschen This is one of my favorites. It's so funny but I have always had some trouble coming up with a GOOD English version. We basically crouch down and softly sing something along the lines of "This is how >opposition< do it" and repeat once, then we jump up and down and sing with enthusiasm "This is how Elsie does it" I'm all for the profane chants and such but what I like about this one is that instead of saying " ____ sucks who the fuck are they" or "we're going to burn your stadium down and roast you like pigs" we're messing with them by our actions, a silly dance calling them out as inferior supporters, and it's great lol. So if somebody could think of a way to do that one which actually sounds good it could be loads of fun I think these are all great and hopefully you like some of them if not all.

When they announce the opposing team's starting line up we all yell "SUCKS!" after each time they announce a player's name. Then when they list the coaches we yell "HE SUCKS TOO!"

Yeah Robbie that was fun!
Another idea I have is something you guys have probably heard of. At some clubs, when a goal is scored, the announcer will declare the score followed by the player's first name. It's a call and response sort of thing.
announcer: A goal in the 39th minute scored by, Matt! crowd: Fondy! Announcer: Matt! crowd: Fondy! Announcer: Matt! crowd: Fondy!
I noticed that yesterday we had some cross section cheers going, so instead of having the announcer involved we could go from one side to the next with this chant. Like left side of the supporters say "Matt" and the right side follow with "Fondy". Repeat x 3+
After the announcer does the names, he sometimes calls out the score in a call and response cheer.
Announcer: Louisville City crowd: Two!!! announcer: Saint Louis crowd: Zero!!!
We could figure something out with that fairly easy as well.

Also, we really need some megaphones for the people leading the chants. I was only like 5 rows back from the front and at the beginning of the match I was struggling to hear what was being said. Same thing on the walk down to the stadium.
Also fyi: Back in my first year of college down in Florida, I helped to start a "Soccer Drum Line". I played bass. It's been a while but I do have that bit of experience if we ever need help with that.

Drums are a must. It's a steady noise that carries and can continue throughout the entire match. Something else that would be nice would be to have some sort of simple tune that we can sing "oh" to pretty much non stop if we aren't doing a specific chant. It provides a nice sound track to the game if you will.

Another helpful thing would be to have videos posted on The Coopers facebook page of someone singing the chants. I know there was a vine posted of one of the chants but when it's a video of so many people doing the chant it's a little hard to understand or hear correctly because the sound quality diminishes significantly. Also a vine is only 6 seconds long so the whole chant didn't make it into the video.

Kross92 - yes, we need you to drum.
I'm also looking at megaphones/bullhorns - not too expensive, I'll just get one or two - hopefully in purple.
Flags are cheap too - purple and white checked about $10 on eBay.

The way they do the announcing in Germany on introductions is the announcer says the first name "Adam" and everyone chants the last name "west". With coordination with the stadium, we could do the same.

Obviously we've got some things to work on, but for the first game, I think things went fairly well. Keep up the good work on here and we'll do better next time!
