1. Voices Carry
Usually I've sat right amidst the Coopers in the Supporters Section for the games, but for the drubbing we gave Wilmington I was a number of rows back with some coworkers. It gave me a pretty good vantage to see the work the Capos put in from a less proximate perspective. While Augustus was a few rows back this time with a flag, I think we might consider as we can adding some 'backbenchers' further back with bullhorns to coordinate the crowd better. Even with the bullhorns, I was surprised at how small the effective range was. There was another group of a half-dozen or so with their own bullhorn who were able to do some work with the mid-section crowd. As we get more volunteers and coordination, that's some great ground to cover.
2. The Newest Cooper
I've brought my 4-year-old son Liam with me to each Saturday game- although he's too young to appreciate the glory of being a Founders Club member, he might be the youngest one we've got. I just went and made him an official Cooper too.
I've been reflecting on his matchday experience, though, and I think I need to prioritize seating in the front row as best I can. Otherwise, all he sees is the backs of the crowd in front of him. Although we'll continue to do the march to the stadium, I might start securing seating for us as soon as we arrive. I don't know if there's any set-up stuff that needs to be placed down there and would be more conveniencely done pre-stadium circuit, but I'm happy to help, let me know.

I'll be sitting with the Coopers tomorrow for the first time. My season tickets are in section 107, and I gave them away to use the free tickets I received from the team. Sitting on the first base side of the stadium, it's difficult to hear the words to the longer chants. We can hear the calls for Scotty Goodwin and the Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, but that's about it. I'm only 5'1" so I have problems seeing as well if I'm behind someone taller (the vast majority). The graduated elevation of the seats helps some. This is one reason my season tickets are on the front row. I plan to meet with everyone for the march for the first time as well. If you see someone wearing a purple jersey and purple sneakers, it's probably me. Any directions would be greatly appreciated. I hate that lost feeling.

to help ensure you get to the front of the section you should try and be at the front of the march. otherwise you might want to try sitting in the section directly to the side of the capo its 121 i think.
