LCFC will be traveling to East Lansing on May 20th. If they win that match they will play at Indy11

Couldn't be a better draw. Looking forward to beating Indy twice in one year. I can't help but think that the draw was a little bit rigged though.

A cup game against Indy 11 would be huge for LCFC.
If the MLS ever looks to expand to this part of the country, the odds of them taking both the Indy 11 and Lou City are relatively slim.
And to be honest, the Indy 11 have a larger fan base, an aggressive owner and a concrete stadium plan they're going to get through the Indiana General Assembly one of these years.
We may be a year behind them, but our Coopers are a solid foundation for the club. I hope the leadership can rally support and bring the purple army out in force to see our boys thru Indy.
A deep run in the Lamar Open Cup can make waves for our team nationwide. Any fan that can should seriously consider the 2 hour road trip... if we advance next week.

US Open cup tends to draw regionally as far as possible. Traditionally, the country being so big and the clubs being so poor, sending an amateur team from Florida to play a team in Maine, or such likes, would both be prohibitively expensive, and unfeasible for the majority of the players. I think it goes on a regional basis until the Quarter finals maybe.

LCFC will be traveling to East Lansing on May 20th. If they win that match they will play at Indy11 Patrick - what time are you leaving and are you coming back after the match? If so, would you be up for company on the trip if you're going by yourself? I'm free and would like to go, but not going by myself.

With this being official now, are there any plans for a bus or car pool? I don't have a car, so I'm crossing my fingers for something!

I'd guess that given the short notice we probably wouldn't be doing a coach, so carpooling is a good idea. I'll have room for two in mine.

I have room for 3, possibly four, if someone wants to sit in the middle of the back seat. Shall we convoy up?
