Since I work downtown near the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau, I stopped by today at the location on 4th Street Live. I was looking for pins that have all the pronunciations of Louisville (like the T-shirts/sweatshirts that are displayed). I thought I would wear one of the pins, give some out on the bus, and give them to St Louligans. When I didn't see any of the pins displayed, I inquired. The manager said they provide them to groups that are having events.
She gave me contact information for the someone at the main office that may be willing to provide us with pins to handout in St Louis, maybe 50 or so pins. I know when we had a local pro hockey team and went to away games, we would hand out our team and supporter (boosters) pins to the supporters that were hosting us. They became a collectible item.
Since we don't having anything similar yet, I thought something like this would be nice to hand out since the announcers always pronounce Louisville incorrectly. We can make fun of ourselves.
I thought it would be better for an officer with the Coopers to contact her.
Contact info at Louisville Visitors and Convention Bureau: Whitney Draper 502-560-0017
Just a thought.

We have loved getting the know the Louligans and consider them close frenemies. We exchanged scarves with one of them at the last game. This is a good idea and we'd love to see it happen.
Nice work!

If someone in our leadership will make the call, I would be willing to pick them up. I just need to know the location if it's not at 4th Street Live.

Thanks, Jason. Let me know if you need me to do anything.
Also what do you guys think about getting cans of the purple temporary hair color. We used it at tournament time when my daughter played rec soccer. Coincidentally, her teams color was purple so the spray hair color was purple.
I can bring it on the bus, and we can spray those that are willing.

Are alcoholic beverages permitted on the bus, and do we need coolers with ice?

Augustus broadly hinted at bringing some complimentary beverages if the bus sells out, so I imagine they are permitted. Be good to get confirmation just to be sure.

Yes alcoholic beverages will be allowed on the bus. We've paid the security deposit to allow it. That means though, don't go crazy and trash the bus, otherwise we wont get our deposit back. I'm sure that goes without saying, but better to have it said and not end up in trouble later on.

Should I bring a few trash bags so it can be collected as we go?

Do we have a meeting place yet where we can park the cars? Also a time to meet?

Bartertown weather forecast...

Just realized that, much like the "New York" Giants and the "Phoenix" Coyotes, so-called "St Louis" FC doesn't even play in St Louis. At least our city wants us right in the heart of it, not shoved to the outskirts like some embarrassing cousin at a family gathering. So on we march to play "Fenton FC" tomorrow, and the weather forecast above budges a degree or two but otherwise not much.

A note: No umbrellas allowed at WWTSP, so bring a poncho.
