So my cousin happens to have an old school bus that came with some land he had bought a year or so ago. Was talking today about cleaning it up and making a bus to take on road games, opinions? Could totally spray paint the thing purple. It's older but runs good, so no getting stranded lol. I thought it was pretty cool, and would get a big group of us to away games which I think would be pretty sweet.

Its a great idea, but we would need more than a bus. . .hopefully! That could transport any tifo's, Instruments, drinks for tailgate, food and such. I'd still paint it Purple haha

That would be awesome! Keep in mind though that anyone driving a bus that is designed for over 16 passengers must have a Commercial Drivers License. If that can be obtained and the bus is in good running shape, I see no reason why we couldn't use it for away trips.

I didn't even think about the CDL part. We've only driven it around the property haha. Well, I guess that foils my plan. Unless any of you fellow Coopers happen to have a CDL. Is it a Class C that's required to drive a school bus?

If you dig deep enough I am sure you could find a soccer fan with a CDL. School bus drivers could be a very valuable resource. At the very, very worst you may have to pay them, which could be included in the gas fund.
EDIT: Also churches. Especially large churches. They all have huge buses with an assortment of drivers.
