Any word on when the club will unveil their uniforms for the season? I wonder if we're inheriting Orlando City's old gear or if they've got something original planned.

It will be somewhat original. The colors of course are similar to that of OCSC so that's where the similarities will come into play. Also, we are planning the date now for the sponsor/kit reveal.

Also, we are planning the date now for the sponsor/kit reveal. Having UPS sponsor us would be huge! Makes a lot of sense. Have a Brown kit for our third with yellow trim.

I'm a fan of hoops, its grown on me. i'd like a clean purple for home and maybe a purple and black hoop on the road.
What would you like to see the shirts as? Does anyone know who our kit sponsor is?

I have a place in my heart for stripes. I need vertical stripes.

Placeholders, I believe. They look like last years OCSC kit. As for when you'll be able to buy one, Probably next month or so. Certainly (knock on wood) after the first game.

Part of me wonders if the jerseys you can see in the training videos are our jerseys. Though I hope not as those aren't too exciting.

I think I heard the date of 01 May when I went to the kit reveal. Could be wrong, memory's not what it used to be. #old

So yeah, about that whole "jerseys on May 1st" thing...... Whoops.
Adidas hates us, or at least the contractor adidas is using hates us.

Just a quick 2 cents. LCFC really blew it on the uniforms. Yes, its the first season. But if the ultimate goal is MLS, should have done something to separate themselves from the crowd. Its bad enough the entire league is outfitted by one manufacturer so most look like cookie cutter kits. Something like 40% of the league has a straight red kit. Not one team is known for wearing stripes. FC Dallas couldn't even stay committed to hoops. Montreal has a striped kit, that should be their primary so they would be know for it but haven't done that, instead they wear all blue.
I really think LCFC would benefit from committing to stripes or something that automatically identifies them as LCFC. Instead, if ever on tv or MLS, based on what we have, theres a good chance you'll think its OCSC first, then realize its LCFC. Kits of one color from Tops-Shorts-Socks are not iconic.
Sounders and Timbers are the two teams that are doing right.

I think that if we got MLS, we might have a think about colors - I wanted to see the gold in the kit, and am a little disappointed in that. I also wanted a Boca style hoop or a Sash (to me, something I associate with the Americas). The thing I would say is that it is mad early in the club's career, so there is a lot of time to play with shirt format, colors, etc. I recall many clubs back in Ireland have changed their kit (be it color or design) 4 or 5 years in, as their own sense of their identity became more clear, so we have time yet, I think. Certainly, if Bayern can introduce Blue stripes every few years for a spell, we should be ok next year or the year after trying something different.

First off it's the team's inaugural kit. You don't want to go and have something crazy and become more known for your kit than you soccer. And something to consider is that FIFA did just institute a new rule"Rule 2, section 35 of the World Cup 2014 regulations states: “Each team shall inform FIFA of two different and contrasting colours (i.e. strips). One predominately dark and one predominately light for its official and reserve kit.” So let's not really expect to many crazy kits.
