The draw for the FIFA U-20 World Cup was held in Auckland today. The US was drawn into Group A with the hosts New Zealand as well as Ukraine and Myanmar. Has anyone been following the U-20's and how do you feel about them advancing out of the group? Other than having to play the hosts, which is always difficult, there shouldn't be too much of a bother.

Ukrainia are always tough, but it seems fairly manageable. It's not the strongest U20 cohort I've seen, but they should have enough to topple Myanmar and NZ, IMO

Having watched most of the US's CONCACAF U-20 Championship matches I think we'll do well in this group. They started the tournament off weak, but came together in the later games (granted the opponents weren't as hard, but the teams chemistry was much improved). Add to the fact that we'll have the players from Europe that were unavailable for the Concacaf tournament and I think we'll be fine. I wouldn't be surprised to see us top our group.
