I am not sure who to direct this question/request to. I am a founding member season ticket holder and have had a blast following the team. My family is celebrating Fathers Day this coming Saturday 06/27 and I am hoping LCFC can make one of by dads dreams come true.
He has been battling cancer for 8 years and was forced to take early retirement. When first diagnosed back in 2007 he was only given 2 years max to live, but has been fighting the good fight and is doing pretty good all things considered. He has always wanted to be the "Beer Man" at a sporting event that walks down up and down the aisles selling beer and yelling "Ice Cold Beer, Getcha Cold Beer Here". Its just one of those things he has always wanted to do.
He is unable to carrying the large ice/beverage container at this point, but if there is some way he could wear one of the vendor shirts and work with one of the vendors and just be the "voice" of the vendor and help walk the stadium selling beer for a game, or half a game, that would be so great. Of course he would just need to be considered a "volunteer" and not get paid for doing it.
If anyone here can possibly put me in touch with the right person from Slugger Field / LCFC I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, if I signup to join the Coopers at a game, what form of payments are accepted? (I have put it off for way too long)

The club website has the front office email (info@louisvillecityfc.com ) where you can get in touch with the volunteer coordinator.
The vending operation is done independently however through slugger field/bats. But the LCFC front office might be able to set something up for you.

I've been in contact with the club to see if there is a good contact to put you in touch with - as soon as I have a response, I will let you know.
As regards joining the Coopers, I believe we take cash, credit card, and paypal, so figure out your preference. You can also do it online, and if you join up by Thursday evening, I believe we can have your scarf waiting for you at the stadium, at the desk just behind the supporters section.
I hope that this helps a little. Fingers crossed we'll be buying beer from your father yet!

Thanks so much for your assistance. Its been a blast hanging out with The Coopers so far this season, and your welcoming and fun club personality have made it a must for me to formally join.
