I feel the biggest reason we lost against Charlotte was our teams lack of depth. We finished the game with one player on our bench. We know we have Sidney Rivera coming once he comes back from injury, but I think its time that we make a few more signings or get some players from OCSC. With the USL rules where you can have 6 subs in the game, I feel like its a massive disadvantage if we don't have enough players to make those subs.

I think that the club isn't going to get anyone from Orlando right now, as they're in somewhat of a crisis there, with injuries as much as results. I daresay that there was an expectation on getting a lot more players from them, but it's just not happened. The injury crisis is bigger than I think most of us had realised.

It's even worse now: Kevin Molino is out for the season with a torn ACL, so OC is going to be putting their midfielders in rotation for the next few months.

Is there a possibility of signing someone right now to fill in at least one of these serious gaps on the bench or are we just screwed as the team heads into the most congested part of the calendar with a US Open Cup match in just a couple weeks?

I'm admittedly new to being a soccer fan, having just really gotten on board with it since we landed our local club, but what are Elsie's options to address this? Can we sign or borrow someone, or are just out of luck until guys heal up?

That is just a brutal injury for a pretty shallow roster as well. I think our (LCFC) best bet is that OCSC makes some big signings in the summer window (unlikely since they have their 3 DPs already signed) and hopefully we can get a player or two then. I think we will get Sidney once he comes back from injury. But I think we need another defender or two to add some depth to our bench. I think we could really use another good holding mid to replace Abend while he is out.

I'm nervous that we are going to just have to play really weak squads in the USOC and we'll get knocked out early. I really want to put a lot of emphasis on the Open Cup since it will be our best chance of getting some exposure to some of the more mainstream soccer fans.

With Rivera officially in and Quinn joining the squad, I think we need one more defensive minded player. I think once Abend comes back we should be fine but I would love to see Orlando loan us down a Defender or defensive mid for a few months, but with Molino's injury I doubt they have anyone to spare.

Harrison Heath is still a possibility, as is Conor Donovan to push Tarek up, but it's looking iffy at this point.

Sean Reynolds reckoned the last day that he is on the verge of being back fully match fit, so that should be a big help.
