When are we getting the link to buy tickets to the match in Chicago? Also is there a plan for fans to get together and carpool, take vans, or even a bus?

I have my ticket to the game. I called the Chicago Fire office and spoke with Dave in Group Sales. The ticket was $20. His number is 708-496-6775. I've sent a message to our president letting him know that Dave was supposed to have been put in contact with him. Dave wanted to know how many people would be traveling to Chicago.

For those looking to overnight... Super 8 Bridgeview may only be about 6.5 stars out of 10 on Priceline, but being 1.9 miles from Toyota Park is easily within staggering distance. Rooms only around $60-80 a night, too.

It's about 20 minutes away from the park, but I've stayed in the area there before and felt a little more comfortable booking in the Oakbrook area. Regarding tickets, anyone know a specific section? I've been holding off at this point till I heard where our group might be located mostly.

I know that there are investigations into a Coopers trip to the game, and depending on the numbers, possibly a bus / ticket combo, so expressions of interest here will help influence such investigations. We should have more details for you by Monday.

I would be interested in a bus trip again, except I'm taking the caravan with the family for the overnight experience. As a rule of thumb, though, I'll be interested in any coach trip organized, along with Liam.

So should we just call this Dave for indivual tickets or is something more formal going to be put together?

We actually lost money on the St. Louis trip by not filling the bus, so we may end up going smaller or carpooling up for Chicago.

I am anxious to go ahead and get my tickets so I can then focus on planning what I am going to do while in Chicago for 1/2 day before tailgating and the game!

There will be an email going out from the Coopers during the week to paid members with a link to tix - apparently setting up a separate ticketing strategy to deal with us takes a day two. It will also be posted up here and on FB maybe a day later. I believe that there are about 80 seats in the section, so there should be plenty.
As for transport, as Augustus said above, it looks like it will be car pooling.

Does anyone know what area is designated for the Louisville FC fans. The Chicago Fire website has where you can purchase tickets online but I want to sit with other supporters. Thanks

Now that the paid members have had a chance to get their tix, here is the detail on the game: We're in section 134. The special link is here, and use the promo code "Fire"
