St. Louis didn't bring smoke (that we know of) to our place You might be confusing "inability to pay for" with "courtesy" here, mate...

Oh, trust me, the St. Louligans have plenty of money to pay for this stuff.

Figures. Looks like it's time to order from Hustle Paintball then. Also, those of you with smoke, leave them at home. While they aren't banned, it's bad form to bring smoke to the opposition ground. St. Louis didn't bring smoke (that we know of) to our place, we won't do it to them. LOL, now I understand the visceral reaction last night. But I'll also say the same thing I would have said yesterday. It it's not banned, I'm bringing it. If other teams want to take it to our stadium, fine....there is no unwritten supporter club rule that says you don't take smoke to an opposing ground. Louligans are good people, fun to drink with, but I'm still gonna burn the purple haze in their faces, I would expect them to do the same.

I agree with that. Being a fairly artificial rivalry, I'd like to get a little good-natured animosity going to give it some weight. Barbing one another on Twitter definitely helped, smoke in their house helps, and for this selfsame reason Liam and I may or may not have been involved in taking selfies in their center circle after the weather call-off last night. It might not have been Souness with a Galataseray flag, but every little helps...

Just to let everyone know indy 11 has the same policy of no smoke in the grandstand that we will be in. Only they will have security attached to us so they will be there to escort anyone out if need be.

It's a shame that soccer supporters seems to have such a bad rap that security has to be attached as protection and as a deterrent for bad behavior. I've attended many, many hockey games in rival cities when Louisville had a team. The only problem we ever had was with a group of kids in Philly who decided to heckle us using obscene language, and a couple of fans in the arena in Albany, NY after what they thought was a bad hit by one of our players. The incident in Albany was the only one that needed the assistance of arena security, and only because the Albany fans involved were drunk off their ass. And after the game in Albany, other Albany fans apologized for the behavior of the drunks.
